This fight certainly wasn't as easy as the previous two heroic bosses, but after a mere 80 attempts and a few brilliant moments of raid-leader rage and incredible herp-derping on just about each and everyone's part, we put this boss away for a US 25m 144th kill.
Big thanks to Demyx for finally coming up with the trick to help us down the boss. Too bad she DC'd and couldn't make the kill! Kittens were punched.
After a few half nights of learning and one full night, Hagara was downed in a remarkably clean attempt (well, up until the last 30 seconds anyway!). Congrats to all, two of eight down, six to go!
Better late than never right? I hope so. Heroic Ragnaros was taken down by some of our most dedicated and hardcore raiders in one shot after a previous night of learning the 10 man version of the encounter. And people wonder why there are over 10,000 10 man guilds and maybe 1000 25mans. Hopefully Blizzard will learn to tune bosses a bit more equally in the expansion, but probably not.
Astraeus, Hyacia, Stallions, Tillis, Zaadolip, Grekas, Deathdefier, Rallin, Chippey, and Tarachand proved too hot to handle for Ragnaros. Congrats all, and to those who volunteered but were either unable to come or couldn't fit, thanks for offering.
Seven hours of raiding after Dragon Soul was released, TFB brings down the antagonist of this expansion in one of the cleanest boss kills, and learning nights, ever experienced by the Angry Asthole.
Congrats to all who attended either raid this week. It was a very strong showing for TFB and I hope we can see this level of play when we begin heroics in a week or two.
